Derby Walmart has donated $750 in support of our nutrition program.

We wish to thank our friends at the Walmart in Derby, VT for their grant of $750 in support of our nutrition program.

We were contacted by
Myra Barbara Ladaga Castillo, Walmart's Pharmacy Manager, to apply for a Spark Good local giving program grant to support the nutrition program at the NEKCOA. Myra is also a volunteer for the Council!

"It is very personal for me to help out and give back as contribution and making a difference are my core values that I exercise as much as I can. And I thank you and your organization for making a positive difference," said Myra. "This is an ongoing effort of our company to help our communities--which is part of our company mission."

Walmart Spark Good assembles all their community giving programs under one brand and improves access to tools and resources like local grants, round up, registry and the space request tool. Spark Good also puts customers and associates in the driver seat making it easier to give to the causes they care most about.
