The Annual Fund

The Annual Fund   is our annual giving program that raises the non-restricted revenue to fill the gaps where state and federal funding fall short.  All donations to the Annual Fund are tax-deductible. Pets 4 Life

In 2010, the NEK Council on Aging launched Pets for Life, a program to help Meals on Wheels recipients in-need by supplying them with food for their companion animals. Generous support from the Banfield Charitable Trust and the Meals on Wheels Association helped this endeavor get started.


An all-volunteer Pets for Life advisory council works to create and facilitate education, outreach and information services - all to encourage and support relationships between elderly and home bound Vermonters and companion animals.

Vehicle Donation Program

Vehicle Donations are a unique and impactful giving option that helps the NEK Council on Aging support our mission. Your unwanted car, truck, boat, motorcycle, SUV or even plane can be accepted as a donation. Your generosity qualifies for a tax deduction and we’ll do all the heavy lifting. Host Your Own Party and Benefit The Council!

There is nothing stopping you from hosting your own event. All we ask is a slice of the spirit of giving. Whether they are birthday celebrations, retirement events, parades, concerts, poetry readings, anniversary parties, or just a simple gathering of friends, please consider a solicitation of financial support to the NEKCOA. All gifts are welcome!
