Getting Out and About

Do you need a ride? We can connect you with shared transportation that includes buses, wheelchair-accessible vans and volunteer drivers to help you. Please call our helpline

Rural Community Transportation

Rural Community Transportation (RCT) helps people in the Northeast Kingdom and Lamoille County get where they need to go. They offer free bus routes, rides to medical appointments, and special programs for older adults and people with disabilities. RCT makes it easier to reach important services, stay connected with the community, and live more independently. Their goal is to provide safe and reliable transportation for everyone who needs it.
To learn more about these options and to schedule a ride with three days’ notice, contact RCT directly at (855) 811-6360.

Or, you can send them questions via e-mail:  info@NEKCouncil.org.

RCT Service Guide
Thank you so much for my ride with the RCT bus.  I went to Clarks Landing and had a wonderful buffet lunch and I met friends and new people.  It was so kind of you to let me do this ride.  Your friend, Peggy
