Welcoming and Inclusive Support

At the Northeast Kingdom Council on Aging, we are committed to providing respectful, person-centered services to all individuals—regardless of background, identity, or life experience. Our team works to ensure that everyone who comes to us feels safe, seen, and supported.

We recognize the importance of honoring diverse experiences and are here to help individuals connect with trusted resources, navigate benefits, and access the care and support that best fits their needs.

Safe and Inclusive Aging Services
Aging Network Providers who display this symbol have completed comprehensive staff training and a review of their service-delivery model to ensure they offer a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all older adults.

This training program was developed by the Northeast Kingdom Council on Aging in partnership with the Pride Center of Vermont, with guidance from a local advisory group and funding support from the Vermont Community Foundation and the SAMARA Fund.

The Pride Center of Vermont offers both basic and advanced cultural awareness training for providers serving older Vermonters, helping to build a statewide network of trusted, inclusive spaces.
