The Board of Directors for the NEK Council on Aging warmly invites you to attend its Annual Meeting:

Guest speaker, Anna Guest, Project Manager for the Tri-State Learning Collaborative on Aging will be offering a discussion about ageism, its impact, and methods we can use to address it.

Anna joined the Maine Council on Aging in November of 2022 as the Project Manager for the Tri-State Learning Collaborative on Aging (TSLCA). An occupational therapist by training, Anna has worked in non-profit community-based organizations for over 15 years, with older adults and people with brain injury. Most recently she oversaw evidence-based health-promotion and Medicare education programming for older adults, working collaboratively with volunteers to expand program reach and impact. She lives in mid-coast Maine with her wife and four-legged family.

We will be recognizing key staff service milestones, provide a summary on 2023 activities, welcome new members to the Board of Directors, and celebrate our Humanitarian Heroes, our NEKCOA Senior Companions.

The meeting is open to the public. Light breakfast refreshments will be served.

Please RSVP by noon on Thursday, November 9th.
