The Northeast Kingdom Council on Aging 

is a dynamic organization that strives to make Northeast Vermont the best place in which to age well with dignity, respect, and independence. For 45 years, the Council has been guided by our vision to be known as a respected partner in the community in developing and delivering quality programs and services to older adults, people with disabilities, and family caregivers.

The Northeast Kingdom Council on Aging

Through the VT Veteran's Directed Care Program, we supported 9 veterans to remain independent in their homes. Our case managers assisted 59 veterans. 

Our staff of 29 and our volunteer team of 410 provided programs and services across the entire Northeast Kingdom of Vermont, a service area of over  2,027 square miles (that’s larger than the state of Rhode Island)!
